Booking Conditions for Packages

This document sets out contractual terms that are legally binding on you, so it’s important that you read and understand them. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party. Booking services with are currently only available to persons who are at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.


All cost of this trip must be paid two weeks before the start date of this trip. We accept all major credit cards through our website payment gateway.


For all cancellations, Iceland Holiday ehf will make every effort to ensure the best protection for you. All cancellations must be sent to Iceland Holiday ehf in writing, by letter or e-mail. In accordance with standard business practices of the travel industry in the Nordic countries, Iceland Holiday ehf is obliged to charge customers cancellation fees at a percentage of the full price, as follows :

Cancellation Charges:

Notice of cancellation – Individual customers

  • More than two weeks prior to arrival: 20%
  • Less than two weeks prior to arrival: 50%
  • Less than 72 hours prior to arrival: 100%
  • Notice of cancellation – Groups (10 or More)
  • More than four weeks prior to arrival: 20%
  • Less than four weeks prior to arrival: 50%
  • Less than 72 hours prior to arrival: 100%

Terms of Payment

Accepted payment methods: accepts major credit cards. If your package is being paid for with a third-party credit card, we will require written authorisation from the cardholder via fax or letter. Please note that American Express and Diners Card charge higher than usual handling fees, so we must regretfully pass part of this fee (3% of the total package price) on to our clients.

Payment at the time of booking: charges a deposit payment or the full amount at the time of booking.

Payment processing:

All payment receipts are issued by email. We automatically charge the same card as used for the deposit payment during the booking process. In the case of delayed payment, reserves the right to treat this as a cancellation of the booking and withdraw its confirmation of the services. back to top

All travel documents are sent electronically as PDF documents attached in an email.
