Because of the Guesthouse's good location, your requirement for taxis will be minimal. The house was built in 1924 and renovated in 1999 in its original fashion.
Luna guesthouse prides itself of five two room apartments (can accommodate up to four persons), one single room, one double room and one studio apartment. All the apartments are modernly equipped with a bathroom, a living room, a kitchenette (which is advantage where dining out can be expensive) and a mini bar. The apartments also include a telephone, a radio, a multi channel TV and an Internet plug-in.
The red room Guests at Luna have access to a washing machine, a drier and an ironing board, and on the top floor is a cozy living room with a fireplace, where breakfast is served if requested. The apartments are cleaned every day.
Each apartment is characterized by its own prime color: yellow, red, green, blue, orange and purple that reflects the interior of the apartments.
It only takes five minutes to drive to the National Bus Terminal and to Hotel Loftleiðir, from which busses go every hour to and from the International Airport at Keflavík.
Luna's personals can provide information and help you make reservations if you want to visit natural beauties outside Reykjavík, for instance to the magnificent waterfall Gullfoss and to the great Geysir. We also recommend whale watching, the Blue Lagoon and horseback riding, which is unique way to experience Icelandic nature.
